ABOUT DR. SOOGOOR
Dr. Malini Soogoor is a board-certified specialist in Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine with over two decades of clinical experience. Trained at leading institutions including New York Methodist Hospital and Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, she is recognized for her expertise in managing complex infections and chronic, non-healing wounds.
Dr. Soogoor currently provides care at several of Southern California’s top hospitals, including Adventist Health Simi Valley, Los Robles Regional Medical Center, and Bakersfield Memorial Hospital. She also serves as Director of Infection Control and Antibiotic Stewardship at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital, where she leads initiatives to advance patient safety and improve outcomes.

At our clinic, we provide advanced and compassionate care for patients with both acute and chronic infections as well as complex wounds that require specialized attention. Our expertise covers a full range of infectious diseases including HIV and AIDS, urinary tract infections, syphilis, osteomyelitis, sepsis, and Valley Fever, also known as coccidioidomycosis. We also treat rare and resistant infections that need precise diagnosis and individualized treatment.
In addition to infection management, we specialize in chronic and nonhealing wound care. We offer evidence based therapies for diabetic foot ulcers, post surgical wounds, venous ulcers, pressure sores, and skin or soft tissue infections. Each patient receives a personalized care plan designed to support healing, prevent recurrence, and restore comfort and mobility.
As a referral based practice, we work closely with your primary care provider, surgeons, and specialists to ensure seamless and coordinated care. From diagnosis through recovery, our team combines clinical expertise with compassion to help you heal fully and regain confidence at every stage of your treatment journey.
